I'm going to go all-out this time. I'm beginning work on the first WindowBlind in a trilogy of themes. The family of themes is caled Valence Shell, which will be futuristic and sci-fi.

Each theme will include skins for WindowBlinds, ObjectDock, IconPackager, and possibly CursorFX.

I am starting off with Valence Shell 1: Plasma Canon, which is a steel mixed with a little dark glass, and a lot of plasma green highlights.

Valence Shell 2: Ultra Violet and Valence Shell 3: Proton Beam will follow.

These skins will be designed for Windows 7, Vista & XP.

Changed the start button. The appearance reflects only a minor change; but this one stretches with the taskbar button size, eliminating the need for a substyle.

Unfortunately, good tutorials for InDesign are very hard to come by. I would recommend getting the "Adobe InDesign CS(fill in the blank) Classroom in a Book." The book can be a bit tedious, but it's very in depth and thorough--taught me sufficiently enough to be able to teach my class!

One option for getting that book is to subscribe to Safari Books Online. This is how I do it. You pay like $20 per month or so, and you get to have 10 digital copies of books in your library.

thanks for the tips....

Well, between paying projects, other skinning projects, and vacation, Plasma Cannon has been on hold. I'll probably get to pick it back up within the next couple of weeks.

I can just imagine hitting the start button and have the whole universe open before your eyes. Exquisite videos and the one you chose Deea19 is awesome.

This trilogy will go at warp speeds on the DL list. Nicely done. Can't wait for the final release. Here's some inspiration.
